Surfside is a delightful country cottage (originally a bakehouse) with spectacular views. Central position gives immediate access to amenities, restaurants and hostelries. The conservatory and enclosed garden provides seclusion. Ideal location for walking and enjoying the scenery. We are open all year with convenient parking, central heating and a log burning fire. Linen & towels are provided, washing & ironing facilities are available as is use of the small garden. Range of DVDs, books, games and deck chairs are available for guests use. The lounge has an integrated TV/DVD/CD with I-Pod docking station, and a portable radio/CD player is available.
The main lounge and dining area is spacious and comfortable, and the period pine flooring here and on the rest of the first floor provides a real “country cottage” feel.
The fully equipped kitchen comprises an electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, together with a wide range of accessories, such as shellfish implements, wok and steamer. A complimentary welcome pack comprising milk, coffee, tea and biscuits is available for you when you arrive.
The master bedroom has full length fitted wardrobes, bedside units with lamps, hair-dryer, hot water bottles and alarm clock. All towels are included (excluding beach towels which you would need to provide yourselves), together with complimentary toiletries.All bedding and pillows are hypo-allergenic.
The ample conservatory provides a secluded restful area which leads directly onto the small ornamental garden, and the study is well stocked with a wide range of books and information regarding the island.
There is also a utility area which houses a washer-dryer, ironing board, iron, laundry basket, together with ample coat storage facilities.
