Welcome to Surfside
Port Erin Holiday Cottage
Isle of Man
“ Surfside” Holiday Cottage Isle of Man is centrally located in Port Erin on Falcon’s Hill. Turn left out of the front door, and it is 40 yards to the beach and the wonderful promenade. Turn right, and within 100 yards you are in the centre of the village with all the facilities you would need and expect – yet stay inside, and you have total seclusion. Total seclusion yes – but not at the expense of some wonderful views from the main living room and bedroom! Ample car parking is available near to the property. From the outside “Surfside” looks deceptively small, but this is a little misleading as the property is built into the hillside leading to a spacious and comfortable cottage which will allow you to enjoy your visit to the Isle of Man to the full.

Perfect for Walkers
The Isle of Man offers outstanding walks for everyone, and is home to the internationally accredited Rad Na Foillan – “The Way of the Gull”. As its name suggests, this is a coastal walks taking in the island’s stunning scenery. The Milennium Walk on the other hand traverses the internal parts of the Island, offering up the majestic splendour of the peaks and our very own mountain, Snaefel. Port Erin itself boasts its own walks, not least up to the Milner Tower on Bradda Head.
Right on the Beach
As you can see from the pictures, Surfside is literally a stones throw from the beach. The cottage has deck chairs, beach mats and beach game equipment, so if its a day on the beach you’re looking for, its well catered for! Should you be looking for something a little more energetic, from just round the corner you can hire a kayak to explore the coast and its caves.
Great for Cyclists
As you might imagine being the birthplace of both Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennaugh, cycling is very popular in the Island. Cycling the roads will provide countless opportunities to enjoy the scenery and heritage sites. Alternatively there are many areas for “off-roading”, and if you are really adventurous, there’s the “end to end” route from North to South!
Shops close by
The main village shopping and amenities area is literally within a minutes walk! There you will find Shoprite (a locally owned supermarket), Co Op, a butcher, two chinese takeaways and various hostelries. Along the promenade you will find more hostelries and cafes. The village also has a number of churches representing various denominations, a library, and a number of small independent traders.
